Conditions we treat · Marijuana
Marijuana is legal in more places every year, and for many people it is a relaxing part of life. But daily use you cannot seem to stop, mornings that feel foggy and motivation that keeps drifting are signs that something has shifted. Cannabis use disorder is real, and it responds to treatment.

Because today's marijuana is much stronger than what most people remember, dependence can develop faster than many expect. The good news: treatment works, and most people notice sleep, focus and mood improving within weeks of cutting back.
Why quitting is harder than it sounds
Stopping heavy marijuana use does not send you to the hospital the way alcohol or benzodiazepines can, but it does bring irritability, poor sleep, cravings and restlessness for a couple of weeks. That window is when most quit attempts fail, and it is exactly when structured support helps most.
Call Now (484) 779-18161. We steady sleep and irritability first
The first two weeks are about rest, routines and mood, so the hard part does not derail you before it gets easier.
2. We build skills for cravings and habits
Therapy that maps when, where and why you use, and plans for the moments the habit pulls hardest.
3. We rebuild what use replaced
Motivation, relationships and daily structure get attention too, because staying clear is easier when your life has things worth staying clear for.
Support that meets you where you are
Quitting marijuana sounds simple until the irritability, sleepless nights and cravings arrive. Two levels of outpatient care give you structure for the weeks that matter most.

What treatment looks like
Change with cannabis is built day by day: better sleep, clearer mornings, honest conversation. Here is what a week of that looks like.
One-on-one work with a primary therapist on the habits, stress and situations that keep use going, and what to do instead.
Small groups where cannabis use is discussed honestly and without judgment, with strategies from people further along.
Practical, day-by-day work on sleep, exercise and structure: the things heavy use quietly wears down.
Evaluation and, when it fits, medication for the anxiety, depression or ADHD that often sits underneath daily use.
Marijuana and mental health
A lot of daily use starts as self-treatment. The trouble is that marijuana quiets the feeling for a few hours and then deepens it. If anxiety, depression or trauma are part of the picture, we treat both together in one plan.
Before you call
For some people it is fairly benign. For others it becomes hard to stop, and it feeds anxiety, low motivation and sleep problems. If it is costing you more than it gives, that is worth taking seriously.
No medical detox is required for marijuana. The challenge is the withdrawal window, the couple of weeks of irritability, poor sleep and cravings, and structure helps you through it.
No. Our clinicians work with cannabis use every week and treat it like the medical pattern it is.
That is common. We treat the whole pattern, alcohol, pills, stimulants and marijuana together, rather than one piece of it.
Yes. If you have tried to cut back and it has not lasted, or stopping brings irritability, poor sleep and cravings, that is dependence, and it is treatable. It responds to the same structured, judgment-free care as any other substance.
