Your story matters.
Recovery is about more than stopping substance use. Our outpatient addiction programs combine individual and group therapy, practical coping skills, and support for rebuilding a meaningful everyday life.
Our team will discuss your needs and recommend an appropriate level of care following an assessment.
Let’s talk about what you’re facing.
Your plan of care
Treatment built around an individual plan.
The therapies below are tools, not a fixed menu. After your assessment, your clinician builds a plan around what fits your situation, and it keeps adjusting as your needs become clearer.
An individual plan
Your assessment shapes which therapies are used, how often you meet and what your goals look like. Nothing is one size fits all.
Case management
Scheduling, FMLA paperwork, referrals and the practical details are handled with you, so logistics do not get in the way of the work itself.
Learn about case managementIntegrated care
Therapy, medication follow-up, family communication and recovery support are coordinated by one team, so sessions build on each other.

Care close to home
Addiction treatment close to home in Media, PA
R&D Center is at 36 E 2nd St in downtown Media, a short walk from the Delaware County Courthouse. For anyone in Delaware County who has been putting off getting help for substance use, treatment that fits around work and family is often what makes starting possible.
Outpatient addiction treatment is built for that balance. Partial hospitalization gives you a structured weekday of clinical care, and intensive outpatient care lets you keep working or going to school while you practice recovery skills in the places they matter most: at home, at work and in your everyday routine. An assessment confirms the right level of care before you commit.
We also welcome people from Springfield, Glen Mills, Newtown Square, Swarthmore, Wayne, Aston and the wider Delaware County area. Each town page lists approximate driving distances from a familiar landmark, so you can plan the trip before your first appointment.

Insurance for addiction PHP and IOP
Many plans cover at least part of outpatient addiction treatment, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care, but what you pay depends on your policy, your deductible and whether the program is in network. Our admissions team checks your benefits with your insurer before treatment begins, so you know what is covered and what your share looks like.
If your plan does not apply, ask about our private-pay rates rather than postponing care. A coverage question should never be the reason you wait.
