Conditions we treat · Alcohol
Maybe it started as a glass of wine to unwind. Maybe it has been years. Either way, if alcohol is taking up more room in your life than you want it to, you don’t have to hit a dramatic low before asking for help.

That last number is the one we care most about changing. Alcohol use disorder is a medical condition, and it responds to treatment. Most people who get help do better than they expected.
Detox referral coordination
Heavy, daily drinking can lead to withdrawal symptoms such as tremors, seizures and, in severe cases, delirium tremens. If medical detox is the right first step, our team handles the legwork so you are not making calls alone.
Call Now (484) 779-1816How detox referral coordination works1. We assess your needs
A confidential conversation about how much and how often you drink, your health and any past withdrawal.
2. We coordinate a detox placement
We connect you with a trusted medical detox partner, help with insurance questions and arrange the handoff.
3. We plan what comes after
Your PHP or IOP spot with us is lined up so you can step straight into outpatient care when detox ends.
Support that meets you where you are
Alcohol treatment at our Media center comes in two levels of outpatient care, so support can match how much room drinking has taken up.

What treatment looks like
Recovery from alcohol is built in small, repeated steps. Here is what a week of that work actually looks like.
One-on-one time with a primary therapist to work on what sits underneath the drinking: cravings, stress, mood and whatever life keeps throwing at you.
Small groups where you practice honest conversation, hear from people further along, and build coping skills you will actually use.
Addiction affects the whole family. Family sessions help repair trust and build the support system recovery stands on.
Psychiatric medication management for mood and anxiety, and medication-assisted treatment when it is the right fit for your recovery.
Alcohol and mental health
Many people drink to quiet anxiety, lift depression or slow a mind that will not stop. It works for a while, then it makes everything worse. If that sounds familiar, you do not have to pick one problem to treat. We care for both at the same time, in the same plan.
Before you call
Many people do. IOP is built to fit around work and family. PHP is a daytime program, so it asks more of your schedule and offers more daily support.
No. You do not have to lose anything to deserve help. If alcohol is taking more than you want to give, that is reason enough to call.
Stopping heavy drinking on your own can be dangerous. We coordinate medical detox with a trusted partner and line up your outpatient spot so you step straight into care.
Yes. Anxiety, depression, trauma and alcohol problems often show up together. We treat both at both of our Media locations.
It depends on you. Your care team builds a schedule around your needs and adjusts it as you make progress. Some people step down from PHP to IOP as they stabilize.
